How do I scan Pokémon cards with EvoScan?
Open EvoScan on your iPhone and point the camera at a Pokémon card. The card scanner identifies the card in seconds and shows its details and current market price, so you can add it to your collection right away.
Can I add a card manually if the scan doesn’t find it?
Yes. If a scan doesn’t recognize a card, you can find it with search or explore Pokémon expansions and browse their cards, then add it to your collection manually.
Is EvoScan a free Pokémon card scanner?
Yes, EvoScan is free to download on the App Store and you can start scanning Pokémon cards without an account. An optional Pro upgrade is available for $6.99 per week, $49.99 per year, or $99.99 as a one-time Lifetime purchase (US prices).
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The weekly Pro plan comes with a 3-day free trial, so you can try every Pro feature before you’re charged. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Can EvoScan check the value of my Pokémon cards?
Yes. EvoScan works as a Pokémon card value scanner: every scanned card shows up-to-date market prices, so you know what your cards are worth and can follow price trends across your collection.
Where do the card prices come from?
Card prices in EvoScan come from TCGplayer, one of the largest marketplaces for Pokémon cards, so the values you see reflect current market prices.
Can I see the total value of my Pokémon card collection?
Yes. EvoScan adds up the market value of the cards in your collection, so you can see the total value of your Pokémon card collection at a glance.
Does EvoScan support Japanese Pokémon cards?
Yes. You can browse both English and Japanese Pokémon expansions and filter them by language on the dashboard to find the sets you collect.
Which devices does EvoScan work on?
EvoScan works on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. It is also available on Mac with Apple silicon and on Apple Vision Pro.
Is EvoScan an official Pokémon app?
No. EvoScan is an independent card scanner for trading card collectors and is not produced, sponsored, or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., or GAME FREAK Inc.
